Saw Focus at the Cambridge Rock Festival. I was playing on the blues stage. As an ardent fan of Focus in the 70's I was totally knocked out by your set ( despite the sound engineers ). Booked to see you on the 8 Oct at the Palace Theatre UK. Beautiful guitar playing .... Kind Regards John | ||

Kom nog eens gauw naar Zuid-Limburg(de organisatie beweerde dat dit het eerste optreden was in onze regio maar dan hebben ze vergeten dat jullie ook een knal van een gig in Sittard hebben gedaan!!) | Ha nielts, gisteren kennis gemaakt met je band in de Boerderij. Was zeer onder de indruk. De toetsenist en ik bleken elkaar nog te kennen van Waterfront en op je muzikantenlijst zag ik Ben de Bruin staan. Als dat een 50-er is met fotografie als beroep dan staat die ook op mijn lijst Veel succes en vooral speelplezier !!

Ik kom zojuist terug van het optreden in de Boerderij. Ben een enorme fan van Larry Carlton. Kijk en luister alles van hem. Maar God, wat hebben jij en je band een indruk op mij gemaakt. De composities, de sound. En jouw gitaarspel: smaakvol, sophisticated, genuanceerd en een lekkere combi van clean en crunch. Heeeeerlijk. Ik ga je volgen. I saw you with Focus last night in Cheltenham, UK. I thought Id just tell you that I thought you (and the rest of Focus) were fantastic. Ive been listening to Focus for about 30 years, but the band lives on! Eruption was THE BEST. I bought Focus 9 and its really good. I am a big fan of your 2007 CD which I bought when you played with Focus at the Mick Jagger Centre in Dartford, UK last year. It is so beautiful! Do you have any other CDs available that I can order through the Internet please? By the way, Focus were superb that night and it was a real pleasure meeting you all and getting your autographs!
